Moving out of Legacy Grove?

Remember, even if you are not living in the home, the property owner is still responsible for upkeep including mowing, weeds, flowers beds, and overall conditions outlined in the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (Governing Documents). Fines will be assessed for violations.

Did you sale your house?

  1. Email Board of Directors (LegacyGroveBOD@gmail.com) and Hughes Properties (Chrissie@Hughes-Properties.com) with the information that you are selling your home. Provide the date of closing. This will ensure that you are removed from all future communications from the Homeowners' Association from that date forward.

  2. Return your pool key. Please place your key in a sealed envelope with your name, address, and closing date in the clubhouse mailbox. This will release you from the liability stated in the pool key access form that you signed to receive your key.

Are you renting your house?

  1. Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions apply to the property owner, not the tenant. Upkeep is ultimately the property owner's responsbility.

  2. Email Board of Directors (LegacyGroveBOD@gmail.com) and Hughes Properties (Chrissie@Hughes-Properties.com) with the information that you are renting your home. Provide Rental Agreement to Hughes Properties. This is used as verification of residency for the tenant.

  3. Return your pool key. Please place your key in a sealed envelope with your name, address, and move out date in the clubhouse mailbox. Also write that you have a tenant moving into the home. Your tenant will have to contact the Board of Directors to sign the pool key access form to receive a key.

    • Pool Key Access Form #1

Keys are used by owners, immediate family and other members only.  A homeowner who is renting his/ her property to others may provide his/her key and associated access to the renter with the same use restrictions as above, but ultimate responsibility and liability associated with the use of the key remains with the homeowner.  Homeowner’s to whom the key is assigned will be liable for any damages incurred during the key’s use.

If you do not wish to be liable for your tenant, email the Board of Directors and Hughes Properties with a statement that your tenant is not allowed to possess a pool key.

Are you, as a tenant, moving out?

Provide the move out date. This will ensure that you are removed from all future communications from the Homeowners' Association from that date forward.

  2. Return your pool key. Please place your key in a sealed envelope with your name, address, and move out date in the clubhouse mailbox.
